God Helps Those Who
Help Themselves
Yes! I am the strongest one
Who has come
so far to conquer!
And only
victory rules my soul
But
somewhere in my heart
I know I am
the weakest one
Who despite
all good luck
Need
courageous words to sing
Just to remind me my strength
And that
could only possible
Through the blessings of my elders
And sacred
souls.
Remember, o
Shiva,
I always need you
And one day
When my
victory tale would be shared,
Your
blessings over my head and motivating words
Would rule
the world.

This is the
story of Rama, a super soul with scratched heart. He had only one objective in his
mind when Ravana forcefully abducted his love of life-Sita. To get back his
love from his clutch and to stand back on his feet with courage and
brevity.
Was it asking too much from
almighty ‘Shiv’?
or was it wrongly prayed?
No! it was not and that is why when
he decided to stand against the powerful king Ravana, he was not lonely. He was
supported and encouraged by all and treated as super soul.
In this story,
while fighting against Ravana’s army, Rama had ultimately reached to climax of
the war after killing all those evil forces who were blindly supporting the
evil king. In the last phase when Rama came to know that tomorrow morning
Ravana would come in the battle ground to fight against him. Rama, who was
fighting without a fear or weakness, suddenly had cold feet. He who knew that
sooner this stage had to come was not ready enough to stand against his enemy. He was lacking a will to defeat him and thinking
unforeseen consequences about the war to be fought. The ray of hope was
diminishing under his own emotions. At that stage he needed guidance from wise
men.
We all have
this happen in our life when we go through such situation when we are
struggling and surviving through all odds and suddenly start feeling weak
without cogent reason. When a new problem arises out from the existing circumstances
and started taking over us a weak and ephemeral being. At that moment of life
only the courage gather in our soul can play a positive role and that is
possible through gathering all our strength and will power.
God
helps those who help themselves. Always understand this and never surrender
before the circumstances. A good fight is better than living alive on enemy’s
mercy.
Whenever you
would strive for success and victory, the only person who would stand between
yourself and victory is you and without making yourself strong, no success can be
achieved.
Again back
to story, Sage Agastya on knowing this condition, went to Rama and assured,
reminded him about his strength and told him this strot- a prayer to Sun God,
asking and requesting to show him the path of victory and bless him with
confidence and boosting of strength
. Rama regained his consciousness and
got ready to fight with Ravana. Ravana was not only defeated but was eliminated
for good. This victory of Rama did not belong to him but to all those who stood
by him in his troublesome period.
Now I am sharing
that strot-hymn while translating it in Hindi and English for easy
understanding. I have shared trance meaning of the hymn for those with positive mind if they still recite it while feeling weak, helpless and can regain their hidden strength at first stance. Here the hymn goes
like this:

1-2:
Just before the final battle with Ravana, Rama had got cold feet,
performance-anxious and lost confidence. The whole battle scene started had
started knocking his head. The ill condition of Sita, death of greatest
warriors by Ravana’s army, knocking and coma of Lakshmana, the warful bravery
shown by Indrajeet-Meghnaad, Kumbhakaran and others are flashing in his
memory. He himself was driven in the situation of win-lose from win-win.
Being a greatest war between a man of surviving nature and a monster of evil,
many sages, kings and wisest persons including of Sage Agastya were
witnessing the dilemma faced by Rama. All of them had sympathy and moral
support for Rama and continuing praying for his victory. Therefore in that
crisis Sage Agastya decided to play a menter’s role for Rama.
