Krishna-Sudama : A Story of Giving and Care

Dear friends, today I was thinking about the general life that people who care and do not take advantage are extinct ....but does it so !! OK, lets share a small story of friendship between unequal who were close school-friends.

This is the story of Sudama- Krishna. They were friends who had their education at the ashram of Guru Sandipan.  Sudama was a poor fellow and Krishna was from an affluent family. They shared their student days together while learning the lessons given by their teacher. After completion of education both of them went to their respective places and settled down. Krishna became the king and due to his charismatic personality became famous as well. On the other side Sudama went to his native village and got married with a simple woman and had children from her. His life was not comfortable rather a miserable one. As his wife knew about his friendship with Krishna so she forced him to go and meet Krishna and took some financial help from him. Sudama knew that it was a long time when he had friendship with him and now Krishna was a king and it might be possible he would not able to recognise him in person. Despite that thought as he was under severe pressure to look after his children, he decided to go and meet Krishna. As he was going after a long time therefore Sudama’s wife gave her some raw rice as a gift- gesture of friendship for Krishna. As he was quite poor so he walked upon and reached Dwarka in sandy and dirty clothes. He informed the sentry at the gate that he wanted to meet Sri Krishna. The sentry took him as an ordinary man and did not inform Krishna about his arrival at once but on his persuasions he send this message to Sri Krishna that one poor man had come and standing at the main gate and claiming himself as school friend of respected king and his name was Sudama. On hearing that message while he along with his wife Rukmani went to main gate and welcomed Sudama with warm heart and gave him an equal place for sitting. He accepted the gift of raw rice which Sudama tried to hide as he could notice that the gift is not up to the mark to Krishna. As I have said before that even a piece of straw if dedicated with reverence and surrender is more precious than the comforts of whole world. Sri Krishna gracefully accepted that and ate the same as most tasty dish even it were uncooked. Sri Krishna always have this quality even when he had accepted the  offerings of peelings of banana by Vidur who offered them while under emotional burst out of happiness and reverence. To save his self-respect even without pretending to Sudama, Sri Krishna helped him by sending the proper assistance directly to his family in his native town so when Sudama was returning from there he was not aware about the support given by Sri Krishna. As he reached in his village he could not able to recognise his house, children and wife as they were wearing the best clothes while having the best fruits. Sudama was speechless and became devotee of Krishna with love.

[ This photo is thankfully downloaded from http://sharmaarunk.blogspot.in/ ]

This has happened because someone had trust in friendship and someone was aware about the difficulties which generally face in life.  The story of Sudama- Sri Krishna is remembered because of large heartiness of Krishna. It is a famous story of all giving not an example of taking. Sudama is a plain character but the hero of the story is always Krishna because he is the giver, a sharer- a truthful friend. What a story which begins with Sudama and ended with Sudama and still we find that the Sudama was a simple character to define the quality of Krishna. The charity and sharing is what we always mean in that story. The miracles in life happen not because of our desires rather because of our nobility and charity.

Life is a roller coaster journey. The journey will always remind us about what we have shared and what still is to be shared. The sign of happiness always arrive upon us through that analysis of life. A soul has no choice. It chooses what we choose, it accompany us in our bad or good time, in our good habits and vices. It is to understand that no moment has future in its pocket only what is now is reality otherwise what is gone is gone and what would come is still away. That is the power of now. The power of now is all in giving and sharing rather than taking or possessing. May God! I wish we all understand it!! May God I wish we all do that!! And now I may believe that People who care and do not take advantage may extinct but still exist in this beautiful world...

With this story I would like to convey my all good wishes and sympathy to the parents of little children who lost their precious lives on December 14, 2012 in their kindergarten school - Sandy Hook elementary school in Connecticut, US. May God give them enough strength to bear this unbearable pain... Amen !!

Para Normal- An Experience in life

This photo is thankfully downloaded from http://sharmaarunk.blogspot.in/

Dear friends, The thought about sharing this experience was in mind for long time but every time something else comes and this again goes into the deep memory. Recently my nephew Alok shows his willingness to learn para-normal sciences with some society. Whether para-normal is a science or a myth, I can not comment upon. Some believe that there is an another world which is beyond our knowledge and understanding. Today I am sharing some para normal experiences of life which have occurred in my day-today-life. My purpose is not to make you believe that the ghosts exist or not but to share what I felt.

I remember in 1999, I went to Mussorie for excursion along with Reena and my sons Priynk and Yugaank.Mussorie is called the queen of hill station situated in Utrakahand-India. It is about 325 kms from Delhi and took about 5/6 hours of comfortable road journey passes through Haryana, UP and then Utrakhand. The journey also passes though forest reserve area. After Dehradun it is a steep climbing of 30 kms towards the town. Many locales site seeing are located in the area. Dhanolty is another nearby local hill station with full vies of Himalayan ranges. The Mall, Gun-hill Top, Camel Road, Lal Tibba, Company Garden, Lake, Kempty and Bhatta Falls are scenic points. As that time, I did not get planned leave therefore most of my trips usually based on on the spot booking.  It was the time when in coming next month I had to go to UN mission in Bosnia. As Mussorie  is near by hill station, hardly about 300 + kms from Delhi therefore I prefer to go there. It is Reena's favorite station too as she had spent many of her child hood summer vacations with her parents there. That time we used to stay in Hotel Sylverton situated on Mall Road- Picture Palace side.It was a heritage hotel, having high ceiling and big rooms with colonial style furniture. So one of the afternoon we were there for spending our time. We found the  above hotel under renovation and not accommodating the guests due to progress in major repair. I went to nearer hotel but due to peak season of May-June, the occupancy were high and no room was available there too. I tried other hotels but nothing fruitful was coming  to us. As finding no other option, we were planning to stay down in the Dehradun town, 30 kms away from main Mussorie but somehow while checking out a hotel we found accomodation there. That hotel was located on The Mall, behind the the main church. It was a normal old constructed hotel having suits something like Sylverton had. We preferred to take suits as it can accommodate children too as they were not young enough to stay in separate room in hotel. As I checked at reception and asked about the fare. It was such a small amount i.e. Rs. 250 a day( about 5 $) which one does not expect even in normal time and then it was time of peak season. We checked the room. It was on first floor. The only occupancy in hotel was that another family which came just before us, and two men were staying in adjacent room to that room. The stairs were congested and dark in day as well but ok. The wash room was ok and the room has a front / back common balcony with doors on both sides. It was deserted looking but peaceful. There was a valley view  and a lawn was there. The building was a double story and white washed one having a quite look. The suit does not have much furniture. There were double beds in both rooms of suit. The outer room was small about 125-150 sq feet but enough for kids, having cane sitting chairs and inner room was bigger room about 200-225 sq feet, having a sofa-set and a white painted wooden cupboard facing bed kept towards the leg area side of inner room bed. As our things were well packed therefore we did not use cup-board for keeping things and it remained bolted as it is.The look was old British style. The ceilings were high.We all loved the area and comforted ourselves. It was informed that they did not have round the clock pantry service and only day service is provided. It was on Mall Road so the eating area and video games parlor were near by therefore we did not take that as in-convenience. It was having the peace of alone-ness as well as fun of city. We were discussing that in future whenever we come we would stay here as it was comfortable, ideally located and less expensive as well. That night we had our dinner in near-by Indian restaurant-Green Restaurant on Mall Road. After dinner we came back to room and after little discussion about the day, we all went to sleep. The hotel which seemed quite at day was not same in night therefore the sleep was disturbing as I could feel lot of commotion in the night but I could not understand the reason. I thought it happened because of occupancy of men staying in adjoining room. Somehow I slept late and got up late too however next morning was bright and cheerful. There were other guests in the lawn having breakfast there. The children were playing we had our good breakfast and then  walked upon on Mall Road. We enjoyed the day as we played lot of games and had good food. By the evening we reached at the hotel, we found that the the guests from adjoining room had left and now we the only one staying there along-with the other family which was staying on ground floor. As we were tired so we slept early. Again the sleep was disturbing as there were commotion out side the room and on the back area as well. In the mid night, I woke up suddenly after hearing some strange noise from outer room where the children were sleeping, I got up and checked but found nothing. I saw from window there was darkness outside the room, no movement was there. I surprised because before that I heard lots of commotion there. The lawn was also deserted looking. I came back to my bed, kept light switch on and slept again. Thereafter I did not hear any commotion.  However I had a night mare that where I was sleeping, I had been attacked by many red ants which were hovering over the wall on my head side. I shook my self so strongly that Reena who was sleeping besides me, got up and try to wake me up. I was shouting, "CHEE(n)TIYAN...CHEE(n)TIYAN ( Ants)  She asked the reason but I did not  reply. Next morning when she told me about the last night incident. I explained the last night's vision to her however I did not remember that she woke me up. I checked the wall but found nothing was there nor any such sign of ants. I had the morning tea while standing in front balcony. The day was quite. The family which was staying at ground floor was loading their baggages silently in their van. Their children were quite and waiting in lawn. After packing they left silently w/o making any noise. I checked rear balcony but found nothing unusual there. We all came down at reception and deposited the keys with receptionist to get our room clean.  He asked me about my wellness. I replied to him and asked him that how many rooms are still occupied. It was a surprise for me that we the only were staying in the hotel. As the hotels of town were over packed and had no vacancy then how did no one was staying there. I further asked him about the commotion in the night in the hotel. He showed his ignorance while I could feel that he was seemed to hide something about it. He asked me about the duration of my stay. I told him that we would like to stay for 2/3 days more. We took another day in the town and enjoyed the day. I was not comfortable w/o any cogent reason. I was feeling restlessness by the thinking about the going back to hotel for night stay.  I told Reena about it and she confirmed that the night was not comfortable and peaceful there. We decided to go back next morning after break fast. After having our dinner, we returned hotel. Reena did packing for some time. The children went to sleep in adjoining room. we had some light chat before sleeping. I kept the lights on of both room. In midnight I had the same night mare again. I saw myself had been attacked with red ants while sleeping on the bed. My sleep was obstructed but I was feeling tired and could not got up. Suddenly I heard the sound of some papers from adjoining room as some one is checking some book or tearing some papers. Suddenly that noise stopped and it was sound of some foot steps between inner and outer room. I heard the sound of opening of door but I could see nothing despite light in the room. Suddenly I saw a white ray/fog type thing entered in the room and went towards the wooden cup-board and entered inside the cup-board. The door was how opened and shut I could not remember. I was stunned and shocked. I was not able to understand whether it was my hallucination or dream. I was tired and not able to get up as well. I was not able to trust my vision. It was a reality or some dream but of-course I was awaken. I did not get enough strength to wake Reena.  Thereafter I did not remember but I lost my conscious and got up next morning. I did not tell Reena in the morning but she told me that last night I had shouted about ants as well but slept thereafter. I told Reena to inform receptionist about preparing our check.I took a bath and in between Children were getting ready, I paid the bill at counter. The receptionist asked the reason of sudden check-out but I kept quite. Then he told that this is what happen here, guest come for longer program but left hotel early w/o telling the reasons. I asked him whether he believed in ghost. He nodded affirmatively and told me that he knew what generally happened here and that is why no one from staff dared to stay in night except a watchman who remained at main gate. Due to this they do not provide mid-night services as well. I checked outside the hotel and found that it was next to graveyard which was situated behind the holy church. It seemed to be developed from the land of graveyard. I returned to room, Reena was doing last part of packing. I checked whether the door between the inner-outer room could move because of wind/air. It was hard and jam-packed one and could not be moved easily. I opened the doors first time and checked the cup-board from inside. To my another surprise the cup-board looked same as I saw last night from inside. The colour and designing were the same. Now I had nothing more to doubt. I knew what I went through and witnessed. I do not want children to be fearful so pretend nothing in-front of them. We came back to Delhi. Reena still remebered that after coming back from there for next 15/20 days I used to shout and fearing about red-ants in sleeping. It took me about a month to recover from that nightmare.

BOOZING and its Impact

This photo is thankfully downloaded from http://sharmaarunk.blogspot.in/

Alcohol is part of life since the beginning of civilization. It is well said that there are 3 inventions which have changed the life of man and these are 1.Wheel 2. Fire 3. Alcohol. The date of first bottle is not known but its participation in life is begun since unknown time. People love that and it has become the reason of celebration as well as forgetting the sorrows. A life w/o alcohol is uncommon in today era. Despite it is role in life it is treated as negative point/ vice n human’s life. The reason is none other than human himself. People have it and started making fun after drinking w/o realizing the privacy of others. They love the company of like mind i.e. boozers. People try to give up and still come back to this. Parents do not like their children to indulge in it despite their own habit of it. Some of religions forbid its consumption for good reasons.

Basically as nobody understands the limit of his consumption and ends sometime in addiction/ excess/ poverty/ sickness and lack in interest in life. On the contrary, regular drinkers have a belief that they are not addicted to it and they would give hundreds of examples to prove it even advised well about quitting this habit. They will detest the over-drinker and kept themselves a bay from them but in actual they are on the same pavement. My childhood friend REX (presumed name) had this problem and could not do much with his life despite his better education and background. Recently I had seen the death of close relative in 40's of my school friend who had this deadly addiction.  I had this problem for almost 2 years when I was in late 20’s/early 30’s but luckily I got in UN mission in Bosnia at the age of 31 and before going there I left this addiction otherwise I would be drinking while cursing myself since morning to night being alone living there.

I still remember when I was in my 20’s after finishing my graduation. I went to a marriage where we were served with alcohol and we were 5 people and a bottle was served to us. I took the responsibility of serving it and as no jug was available for mixing water/soda in liquor so we took a milk vessel for mixing. I added water and liquor in that and gave shots to them in a big steel tumbler. After giving it as no other tumbler was there so I drank directly from vessel and emptied that. Thereafter I could feel everything but nothing was in my control. I could not eat the supper as well as I was out of control. The reason for sharing this incident with you friends that whatever I have understood, I am trying to share it with you.

Recently while coming back after my physiotherapy exercise, I have noticed a few scenes about this habit. I call it nuisance. The alcohol is not as worst as its way of consumption. I will discuss those nuisances with you as my purpose is not you to quit the habit rather to change the way of doing it.

The first scene is that in India whenever there is a wedding, you would find make shift bars in cars parked near the wedding venue. You will find that guests are drinking it there and going for dance and again coming back for another quick shot/peg. They will be doing and repeating it for more times. The alcohol is free and people drink that in excess as free distribution to them. Sometimes these make shift parties run for more than time and some people end their visit at that road-side bar.   This is a bad situation. The foremost thing is that either it should be arranged by the wedding couple and their relatives so that these road side bars shall not come-up. Sometimes you would find people drinking and urinating simultaneously at that vehicle. It is disgusting and awful. It is a problem to local residents as well. Imagine if some local resident if calls to police then what would be situation of guests and organizers. An involvement in criminal case and your clean life-record goes forever.

Another scene I have seen the local cold drink sellers/ fruit juice sellers/ Chinese food vans/ Panwari shops/ Parking places/ Public Parks and slowly moving / parked vehicles on deserted roads. Some of the shopkeepers especially near alcohol shops keep disposable glasses, soda/beverages carry away bottles, snack-packs, mint/ cardamom and fresheners.  and sell them at hefty price but none notices that as main purpose is demand-and-supply rule. It is same as above people are drinking at such places and again a fear is there whether seen by known or if a police patrol vehicles approaches then again a running for safe place or pulling the peg completely in w/o enjoying the drink. If caught then lots of begging / requests and whole entertainment vanishes in a second. Again garbage on road as thrown by consumers as a cleaning effort to keep car free from such things. High speed and rash driving with breaking driving rules, endangering life with blasting music is followed at later stage. Again chances of going-jail, criminal cases and humiliations of family, penalties.  We had such a notorious case of killing people occurred in 90’s. It even defamed the German car brand as people still remember that case by that car brand.

Another scene I have noticed that people drink in library!!! Yes in library. This I have seen in many cases. Such libraries are generally less crowded in evenings and drinkers take benefit of such situations. Generally the staff connivance is found in such circumstances and this favour is given in lieu of free 2/3 shots. The same may occur in offices when public dealing hours are closed and staffs stay there and disguise this by showing extra work.

The places may many and people may vary from status to status but the basic problem is unauthorized boozing. Yes! it is a severe problem.

This problem is increasing due to various reasons and basic reason is non-acceptance of drinker by none other than his family. This enhances his habit to drink the alcohol in public view with danger of criminal implications. It further increases the capacity of boozer as he drinks from start to finish and finishes the stock before leaving the spot/vehicle.

I do not personally encourage the drinking habit and people who do not drink live a better and healthy life style than those who drink it. The family-objection is natural and acceptable to all who detest this vice but my dear friends you need to see that whether such objection leading to above circumstances of drinking then you are failing in stopping rather you are putting your beloved one in dangerous situation where he would be in more trouble as happened in many such cases. A drinker if drinking in public place away from home will face more problems than drinking it at home. At home, he would be comfortable and easy. He will drink slowly so he would not get drunk and drink the alcohol as per his capacity and w/o pressure to finish the stock. His stomach would not be a wastage ground for throwing the liquor. He would enjoy the home and thus does not remain away from home. He will not drive and would not put his and others life at stack. He will not create a nuisance and will not throw garbage on road or urinate in public view. He will eat proper meals thus will reduce his alcohol intake.

A family can take care of its members if it really understands them.

OK, this is for those who believe that there is a way for drinking. Now if some ones who still feel that he does not need to change then what are remedies? The following remedies may be suitable to tackle such activities:
  • Strict law and legal action with heavy penalty and punishment.
  • Driving with drinking shall be non-bailable offense.-
  •  Suspension of driving permit on first offense and cancellation of driving license on subsequent offense.
  •  An accident shall not be treated as accident if found driven by drunkard rather it shall be treated as grievous hurt/ culpable homicide case and punishment as per law shall be given.
  • The vehicle involved in such cases shall be confiscated and auctioned. The money shall either be given to victim or deposit with state fund.
  •  The speedy trial shall be concluded in 30/45 days with provision of appeal and its decision within 15 days. The burden of proof shall lie on defaulter after finding positive in alcohol test.
  • The defaulter shall not be allowed to buy another vehicle for specific time period.
  • They shall not allow to buy alcohol from shops and do not allow to use bar facility and their record be maintained though on-line server.
  • His passport and other ID proof shall have markings which tells about his act of guilt to authorities.
  • He shall be debarred from pension benefits.
  • A watch must be kept on his subsequent conduct and if any improvement is there only then some relaxation be given in above.

Drinking is fun if done in proper way in good ambiance while chilling out with friends and relatives but if you along with society/family/ friends are suffering and fearful due to your indulgence in alcohol, it is the time that you wake up and control it before it is too late.

*P.S.- The purpose of this post is not to encourage the consumption of alcohol. It must be avoided in all situations and circumstances. People those drink must try to quit it. Simultaneously those who drink and follow the rules may use their intelligence in doing so.People those drink are not bad as all those do not drink are good too.

THE CHOICES IN LIFE-2

The choice is a gift of god to human beings.

Choosing the best among people is difficult choice especially when a skill/test is involved in the process. A skillful man is well recognized by one and all that is why he is chosen one.. It is true that the skill, knowledge and expertise choose best of its own kind that is why we respect such decisions based on certain above mentioned logics. Certain people who do not have such skills are involved with failing the process by hook or by crook. Finding traps in life is happening things and occur at every turn; we cannot avoid it nor cannot take them too long for the sake of defined purpose of life. Greed is the root for such traps. The criticizers are part of public life. They are mark of your success too and define your story with their created tone/ pitch. Their offerings are always based on evaluating your deeds and actions. Be careful about them and never believes them as your followers, they are here to make you lonely and broken. A king needs to check his actions and decisions before taking them. A commoner may do thousands of mistakes but a king must not indulge in that. That is related with faith of people. That is why power brings responsibilities. Responsibilities of doing or refraining. Being king is an easy task but remains there for long time is arduous and could be possible only through regular retrospection and good pieces of advice from the council/friends and above all by controlling the lust and desire for unseen threats and dangers offered in the way. It occurs in life path too……. That is a why a walker smiles and travels continue but never forgets to see the ground of his next step. He knows the choice is a gift of god to him.

"Angel and Devil do not exist in this world , they live inside of us . Both them are breathing and alive due to power supply made through our emotions. They get energy from our soul and it is our free choice that how we distribute our energy between them...."

The Mother and Son- STORY

Dear friends,
Lets share a story rather 2 stories in one story :
Once upon a time there was a son and he had a mother who was illiterate but wise and positive thinker. They had a small tiny house which is just a single room for living, sleeping and cooking. Life was difficult but somehow they were surviving. The mother knew the importance of education so she made her son to study hard and arranged him books for learning. The son had many friends in school but he was always shy of bringing or showing them his house. He always felt low in front of his friends as they lived in bigger house and had a flourishing childhood in comparison to him. The son always asked his mother to take some land and to built a bigger house over that land so that he could show his friends a big house. The mother knew the ground realties and always replied positive about the future. The son used to get annoyed by that and made valid arguments about his poor state. The mother understood his pain but helpless in relieving him from that unbearable pain of his child due to limitation of resources.

Just to release him from his pain the mother used to tell a story to his son: that there were mother and son like them who had no better life than themselves and one day the son came home running and told his mother that a camel is being sold at single penny. On that the mother replied that it was too costly and  they should refrain themselves of buying that camel at such a high price. The time went on and situations got changed and after a few years the son came home running and informed his mother that the camel was being sold at a price of one hundred thousand pennies. On that the mother replied that he should bought as many as possible as it was a throw away price.

The lesson of story was that sometimes even a single penny is expensive and sometimes even thousands of them were a throw away price. It has occurred due to prosperity and buying capacity of the son.

After hearing that story the son never argued with his mother nor complained about their small house as he had understood the true meaning of narrated story.

It happened with all of us in life when sometime we are not able to spend or buy a thing which is available in small price as it would seem to us a big price and sometime the situation gets opposite that even at hefty price the money seems to be very small for any thing we desire. We shall never forget this that it happens only when we work hard and achieve results through our sheer hard work. Life changes for them who believe in  focus, hard work and consistency. The situations changes better for them and at that stage no price is bigger than your effort and result achieved.

Always appreciate and thank god for what you have as at any stage of life you would feel pride in having it.

This story goes well with necessity point of view as that when you are away from desert, a camel is not required even if it is available in a single penny and if you are there and facing the difficulties in surviving then it is cheaper even in all carrying gold as nothing can compare to life gifted by god.

Never forget a camel may be costly even in single penny or sometime cheap in thousands of them.

HELP

Dear friends, here again  I would like to share a story which I have recently shared with my son Orian while going for sleep. The story goes like this:

Once upon a time there was an old man who lived near the river bank in a small house. He was a satisfied person who did not have any complaint with any one. He was a friendly person too. As his house was near to river and on way to city, people used to come there for rest and used to gift him something for his self less services to him. He had a horse namely 'Sultan'. Sultan was a beautiful horse and had capacity to run fast as compare to other horses. Sultan was having a good height, strong legs and could crossed the river with in no time. That horse was basically belonged to old mans' son who died in a war while fighting for the mother land. It was his remembrance which was keeping the old man alive and active. He loved the horse like his own son. Everyday, he used to feed it with best fresh grass and beans, massaged it, bathe it daily. The horse also understood the love of his owner and always reciprocated him in the same manner. All the nearby people knew about the horse and the old man's love for it.  One day when the old man was feeding Sultan, a man with good physique  wearing precious clothes came to him. The old man offered him the place to rest and some food to eat. He stayed a while and observed Sultan closely. After some time he went to old man and introduced himself as commander of king's army. He informed him that he had heard lot of good things about the horse and after hearing them, he had come to see it. As he had felt that the facts about the horse were genuine therefore he wanted to buy this horse for handsome money. The old man turned down the offer and politely informed him about his attachment with Sultan. He told him that he had never treated Sultan as animal rather it was the extension of his died son's soul who still with him in the shape of Sultan. He could kept himself hungry but never ever kept Sultan hungry. On hearing that the commander got angry and threatened the old man with dire consequences. On hearing that news the local people gathered there and asked the commander to leave the place otherwise they would force to take action again him. On seeing the local support and positive impression of old man, the commander understood that he would not able to take the horse then so he started marching back. Before going back, he threatened the old man that sooner or later he would take the horse from him whether willfully of forcefully. After that the old man started keeping Sultan inside his house for safety reasons. As the time passed the memory about the incident was also faded away. The old man thought it to be a cry of defeated man and moved on. One day in the evening while he was taking a stroll with Sultan in the trees, he noticed that a handicapped old beard man was sitting in the middle of road and was trying to repaired his broken carry cart but it seemed to be unrepairable. He stopped Sultan and offered him help if he could provide. The old handicapped man requested him to drop him near the river as from there he could ride a boat for his village. As the night was getting fallen and there was an imminent danger of wild animals in the night which could attack that weak man therefore he lifted and supported the handicapped to ride the horse and started walking alongside of him. As they walked a few steps suddenly the handicapped man took control of horse and started riding it fast as an expert rider. He removed his fake beard and wig and he was commander who had come before taking the horse. The commander stopped at some distance and told him with sarcastic voice that as he had said that he would grab the horse which he had done then. On that the old man did not say a word, he was not angry with the taking of horse but he was in pain because of method used by commander. He spoke calmly and said he wanted to say something to him, if he would come near him but the commander said that if he would come near to him he would take back the horse from him but on his repeated requests, the commander came back and stood at safe distance from him. The old man said to him that he (the commander) must not tell any one about the method of grabbing his horse as it would break the trust of people over the help-less people and no-one would help any handicapped old helpless man in his need. Thereafter the old man returned to his house, that night he did not eat any thing and wept through out the night. In the wee hours when he got a little sleepy suddenly he heard a some sound outside of his house. On curiosity he opened the door and astonished to see Sultan standing out side of his house.  He felt so happy and fed Sultan with his own hands. In between the commander came with king, Both of them asked for pardon for the mistake of commander. The old man surprised to know that even Sultan which was gifted to king refused to eat any thing in the palace and cried there continuously. When king heard Sultan's voice he could make out that something wrong with the horse. He called commander who narrated him the whole incident. After hearing the story, the king did not stop himself and came to return the horse to the real owner. There after the old man and Sultan lived happily for years in each other company.

Dear friends this is the story I have shared with you. In real life we meet several people at various junctions of life where many time we need help or a few time they need help. We should help each other without thinking second time. It could be a god's hand through us for that we should be thankful to him for making us his tool. Sometimes after helping some one we might feel that the person who was helped was not a genuine one as it happened with the old man when he tried to help the handicapped man so we  should not help fake people as they would be cheating and exploiting us for their undue benefits. The future is unseen and fortunately we know nothing about it. A help is a god's hand to needy one and needy must be helped. The way to help is to forget what is done and remain thankful if some one helps us. The pain of betrayal may not turn you in a person who you are not. We should not waste our time in evaluating about the nature of a helped one. This would snatch the purpose of help.  Let what they do as it is in their nature and let what we do, it is in our nature too.

The relations are not made for taking advantages, they are made as we trust  them.
