SHADOW seems to be a down and torn word. Recently during a discussion someone referred some Mr. ‘X’ as shadow in downgraded volume. That gives a rise to write and think about it. I have also noticed that sometimes we associate it with depression or slave feeling. It is being used as cowardly sign or deserter which leaves one at various occasions. Shadow people are being taken as blind folded and relates them with no identity or identity is suppressed.
However I have an opinion about it which may be seen in other aspect. According to my understanding, it is the best companion of oneself- A LIFE LONG FRIEND- a witness of life doings. It remains with one till the last day of life even breath stops but shadow moves with the body. It has many births and deaths. With every morning it emerges from the light and ends with sun set but it remains with us even in darkness and only for sometimes it is not visible with naked eyes so the questioning of its existence cannot be taken for account for. While we walk on our destiny path all departed for walking on our respective path, only shadow remains with us in constant contact. Like soul the shadow does not feel any pain or tiredness and remains full of energy. Thus it is like the visible soul remains with us throughout the life cycle. It reflects with light and light is like ‘GOD’. Till one remains in darkness, disappointment, aggression, anger and jealousy does not notice it and as soon as one comes in contact with light, one can admire and see it. It is consciousness of one which awakes and advices only when one wants to listen to it otherwise the voice is always unheard and ignored. In “GEETA” while lord Krishna was preaching the Arjuna about the relation of God and Soul, king Dhirtrashtra- the father of Kuru’s were listening the same but was not accepting it truth of life otherwise he could have stopped the war at that time and could save lives of millions but he never wanted to understand it and remained in illusions and mirage created by his unfulfilled wish. Shadow does the same, it always speak about our karma's which we do in our life. Shadow reflects our mind and its thought. With the enhancement of light the sizes of shadow decreases like when we start understanding the god the darkness disappears and shadow gets down and reduces its size. As soon as the light in our life reduces the size of shadow starts increasing and goes in multi fold of original. It also reflects our false and sick ego which survives through lack of knowledge and ignorance of facts. Thus 'Shadow' explains us to get improve and connect it with light and god. It can be a symbol of improvement and leads us to take bath in the rain drops of light so that when light covers us like rain it would get an opportunity to vanishes away from our naked eyes and gives chance to focus on greater things of life.
