BHAGWAN SHIVA- The greatest lover of all time

When I was young, I heard a story from my mother about SHIVA..
The story goes like this... when a princess named as SATI got matured enough to think about the marriage... she somehow heard about SHIVA and after hearing about his stories how he cares the people, loves them unconditionally, accepts them the way they are, remains with them forever, never gets annoyed by those who love him, ignores humiliations, arrogance for his lover, a father in true sense and a heart with full of love, drank poison for civilization, accepts cobras as garlands, took the awkward animal for his riding i.e. male buffalo as no one accepting it, become the symbol for destruction as he was called, malice towards none.. what else a person look for lover!! so she told her father who was a king with wealth, mass land, and having big joint family having all big kings and queens, her brothers are married with riches and riches, sister were engaged and married with who's who of society.. so her demand for getting marry with a person who lives in jungle over a mountain, wears  cheetah skin, riding a buffalo, baths with ashes, keeps untidy hairs, and barbarian trishul as weapon, who has friends / buddies none other than ghosts, vampires, blood suckers, bats, discarded animals, lepers, sick, weak, hungry people... how can a princess can live with him and what society would say if this relation be progressed, The reputation of king would collapsed and the king would not able to show his face to any one.. so forget him, some people are good at nothing... but when love sees with heart.. nothing else is noticed and SATI has seen his truth in him so she remained certain about her choice... on knowing all details SHIVA also realized that his soul mate had come to meet to complete him but he waited patiently and gave his node for her choice... so after much persuasion when SATI refused to give up... the king had to agree with her with total disliking for her and SHIVA... so finally they got married and started living happily thereafter :))
but friends the story is yet to begin.... SATI and SHIVA remains happy at Mount Kailash with buddies... after some time SATI heard that her father , the king is organizing a big function in his house and he had invited all of his friends , relatives, nearer and dearer, the general public have also been invited to join the function how ever she was not called but how can she stops herself to join her father's function  and it might be possible that her father might have forgotten to invite her or the messenger might have not come due to fear of jungle so SATI asked SHIVA to go to attend the function and give reasons to justify her demand... SHIVA smiled and told him that what ever SATI would think and do , would be OK and acceptable but one must remember that one should not go even to father's home when not invited for such functions but as SATI was determined so she was allowed to go but SHIVA politely refused to join her. SATI went to king's house where she spent her childhood with her friends and buddies... where she knew even a small stone and drop of water, dry leaf, she understands the aroma of breeze... but the sooner she reached there, the later she became strange to all her buddies, sisters, brothers all were behaving strange with her and even her father-the king was not recognizing her presence in the function... she was left alone .. all were trying to avoid her on one or another pretext or even not looking for any excuse for doing so... and at the time of final function when all relatives were called to attend the dais to be introduced by king as his beloved family members... SATI was deliberately left w/o mentioning about her status and presence... SATI felt sad and in sorrow and jumped into the fire in frustration and anger.... The king did little notice of her death rather thought it as a honor's killing/ suicide and enjoyed the function with his relatives and public..... now when SHIVA came to know about the whole episode, he became real angry means really very angry and attacked the king and killed everyone, destroyed everything, nothing was left only ashes and remnants of so called things.. despite of creating disaster still he was angry and sad and crying like a little baby, took SATI"s corpse in her lap and started wandering aimlessly in the whole world.... some of corpse pieces fell at different places, those places become pious and people visit those places as well. All the good souls/angles/gods came to pacify him and made understood about the cycle of death and birth... SHIVA became calm but felt lonely and depressed, started living in loneliness, not communicating with any one... it seems that he does not want to live and trying to kill himself in anger, repentance, frustration so even destiny had to do changes and SATI comes back in the shape of PARVATI to be united with SHIVA... and there after they live happily forever and even today, tomorrow...It happened because of love of SHIVA whose emotions changed the end of story... :))

Imagine POWER WITHOUT GUILT LOVE WITHOUT DOUBT
THE TRISHUL is an Eternal Symbol of TIME....Past Present and Future ! Lord Shiva is Omnipresent in every place in all time and Beyond..... He is Our Adorable Time Lord MahaKal...
Indeed he has inimitable fashion sense ..
When in meditation he pays little attention to his appearance hence he is unkempt..... He is Shelter to All including the Troubadours, The Misfits and Mystics .....
REmember that Lord Shiva is a householder and immaculate in presentation with exquisite manners....Peace Aum Arun Sharma
