FOCUS

The stories from great epic “Maha Bharat” are one of my favourite and I have been brought up by listening them from my mother. One of those story about the great warrior 'ARJUNA' which I have recently shared with my son- Orian as he is fond of listening them as well. It tells about “FOCUS” in life. Generally what we miss in this hectic schedule where the priorities changes after every five minutes is FOCUS. I wish that we all should understand its importance. So friends, the story goes like this....

Once upon a time when Guru Drona was teaching archery to Kaurava & Pandavas. He realised to tell them about the importance of focus so he arranged a class of archery in the jungle. He fixed a toy-bird in the leaves of a tree. He marked an eye mark over the bird. After fixing it there, he called all his students with their archery equipment’s there. He instructed them that they would have to shoot the eye of that bird by the arrow. He started calling his students one by one. He asked them to pull the arrow and then to explain what one saw after pulling the arrow at the target. One of them answered about the beautiful sky, the other one told about the nice scenic view of jungle, someone told about the large green leafy tree. Someone mentioned about the mountains, cloud, many birds in the sky. They all mentioned about the toy-bird as well on which they had to hit with their respective arrow. Guru DRONA listen everyone calmly and gave them opportunity to hit the eye of the bird but no one could succeed in doing so. As everyone realised that the given task was almost impossible to do as penetrating in the eye of that bird is not only difficult but also impractical. On hearing their views about the given arduous task, Guru Drona called ‘ARJUN’ and instructed him to fix the arrow in his arch. ‘ARJUN’ took his bow and put an arrow over the target. On seeing him in ready position, Guru Drona asked him to explain what he was seeing than. ‘ARJUN’ replied that now what he could see it only the eye on which he had to target. On listening this all other students laughed loudly and mocked ARJUN about his poor eye sight. They talked among them that as all of them were seeing everything still could not penetrate the target. ‘ARJUN’ who hardly saw a tiny thing would not able to target it properly. Guru heard every one, smiled and ordered ‘ARJUN’ to shoot the arrow. “ARJUN’ left the pulled arrow and it was surprise to everyone that it hit at the right place of the toy-bird i.e. the eye. All of them got surprised and request Guru to explain the reason for it. The guru smiled and explained that the reason for ‘ARJUN’s success was his focus over the target. He allowed his mind to see what was required. At that stage seeing every other thing was useless as the target was small but could be achieved. He allowed his mind to free from other worldly pleasure things and controlled it to see what was to be seen.

A great meditator could achieve that through focussing over the aim. The guru further awoke them to realise the power of mind. The education does same with us. It is not a tool to 100% sure success but a tool to motivate. It realises us to understand our potential.  A great mind is not born; it is achieved through sheer hard work, focus and determination. Understanding our potential and comprehending our limitation is the key to all success which is ahead of us, waiting eagerly for kissing our footsteps. 

‘ARJUN’ understood that and that is why the KRISHANA- the god became his charioteer. We all have this inside of us and God is still waiting happily for another ‘ARJUN’ to become his charioteer. 

I Don't Know WHY.... ???

Why do brothers fight over inherited wealth?

You may have millions and billions but still you feel you need more money and rated the power of money beyond anything or everything. That is why the brothers who run in thousands of billions making a ruckus in public for distribution of wealth receive in inheritance from their father. You feel that you are smart and you would not let it happen among your children after you but remember children learn what they see and unfortunately due to wall of prosperity they could see limited and censored version of life. How can you be smarter than your father who made tons of billions from the little penny? Money making needs smartness but money grabbing needs manipulation and conspiracies. You make high storey building for dwelling and still sleep like horse in your car. The love for money is higher than love for your beloved brother. Know your needs; it is good to keep some water in a little bottle because if it is raining, you still need a bottle to drink water when you would feel thirsty as you cannot do that even by keeping your mouth open in rain. I wish this could be understood by all brothers....

The WIFE- a Role Model of Life

A wife is known as your source of light in dark and shadow in light. She is your best friend. You discuss everything –your failures, your success, your insecurities, your tensions, your celebration, your happiness. She is the best gift of god to you. All other relations are blood made only this relation is established through your emotions. It progresses with knowing each other. Remember your wife- your better half plays a vital role in maintaining the relations and unfortunately if she is sadist/ selfish/ jealous then you would have more to lose as raindrops falling into the overflowing drain. She needs to be selfless and sacrificing in nature while maintaining relations. She has to be on more giving sides than to taking sides. She needs to take care them not only in words but in deeds as well. The same role implies to husband when wife’s relatives visit them. She is a role model to your family.She can sail you through the most adverse conditions of life w/o letting you wounded. Her aura helps in having a 'family'. She is the true reflection of your growth and progress. Share yourself with her, the happiness will get doubles by her magical touch.  

I Don't understand, I am not one of those Saints...!!!

Why did Lord Buddha & Lord Mahavira leave their respective kingdom? Can’t they get what they wanted to achieve in life while becoming kings of their respective kingdoms of ‘Lumbini’ & 'Vaishali'.

Buddha and Mahavira both belonged to royal family in their time. They had everything in life. All luxuries, comforts and best of food served on table from the many servants. They could wish and could found the same for them. The life which they had is dream for many of us. Leaving that type of life and taking ‘sanyas’, leaving beautiful wife and children by Buddha, getting hurt for the pain of unknown is the question for many. 

They were not born as Lord Buddha and Lord Mahavira but as Prince Siddhartha & Prince Vardhmana. If they would have stayed they could be next kings after their respective fathers. The place was good, the kingdom was good enough to fulfill their desires but despite that they did not stay with such temptation. The reason for leaving their respective kingdom come from their urge for learning and knowing the emotions and feelings of people who lived in normal circumstances w/o having comforts and luxuries in life. It was not running from kingdom rather avoiding comforts and luxuries to become “self-less” from “being self”. They had not discarded them but accepted the life in normal mode- "LIVE NORMAL". They had left other things to live and experienced the life of a human being in normal circumstances. It helped them to understand and listen their inner voice. The inner voice which always tells us a difference between right-or-wrong could not be felt if it becomes the slave of comforts and luxuries. It is like avoiding weaknesses which were emerging by living in such mode otherwise the inner voice either stops speaking or we stop hearing on the pretext of ‘chalta hai’ attitude then It becomes a choice of greedy mind for fulfilling the lust where we feel that it is necessary to do that.

 If you read the mind of guilty, he would give hundreds of examples for doing the crime. It may include of justification, necessity and lure from doing so but can we support that?

Remember living away from comforts and luxuries was not necessary to for sacrifice but to know self and soul of others.

We all have choices like this in our life where we all have to choose between the one. Unfortunately the way which seems easy, comfortable and free from obstruction becomes the chosen path for walk and the path which seems harsh, stony and with thorns is avoided by all of us. That is leading one to easy toner of life. If Lord Buddha and Lord Mahavira had chosen the easy path, they would have remember as the some kings of small kingdom situated in  some distant place but as they chose the harsh way to walk they become what we know them as today.

Every life asks real questions from every one (Remember no one is left/ ignored by our creator)  only a few try to answer by understanding themselves. Avoiding answering them make them some king :) of some place for some time and answering them make us undisputed king :))  of all places in all time. 

Hear the inner voice.........That will make the difference to us.

Why do you POKE me?

Life is busy and we do not get much time to speak with our dear friends.... either they are busy or we are busy. even in busiest hour of life we never forget waving hands if we notice them in some busy alley/gallery but because of busy with commitments we do not stop and started talking at length, may be they are getting late for something or might we miss our train.... even I remembered while I was posted in UN mission in Bosnia, when driving a UN vehicle if we used to cross each other on opposite carriage ways, we generally shared the high beaming of head lights for seconds and that was a 'HI' to each other. It was done w/o stopping the vehicle and even between the stranger UN employees as we all had the common identity that was connecting each other. According to me Poking is something same. It was just a "hi" to friend that yes, you & me have noticed each other but may be we sit for some other next time when we both will be free from commitment of life. It is a smiley to each other. ...... It may be ignored but next time may be we missed that hi/smile of friends....

REPENT

When I walked towards you, I never knew that one day we would be reaching at this place from where we have to move to our respective path. Now I have understood that it is easy to merge with super soul (GOD) than to with (self) soul mate. I was avoiding this fact known to me for long time. The journey which I traveled with you has taught me many lessons of life and the important lesson is about LOVE and COMPASSION.  I always try to make you walk besides me w/o realizing that I was walking very fast and hence made you to do so. If I knew that  by doing it,  the walk was ending rapidly fast, I would have walked slow and enjoyed the beauty of path but as usual I tried to cover more distance hurriedly which was unfortunately not enough longer to realize the worth of mine and I have become a crap. Now I wish to know everything you were telling me in the journey. Now I have understood why you always smiled upon me when I told you to walk fast. Now I want to laugh on every joke you cracked.  I am unhappy with this when you knew this, why did not you make me realize this by shaking me with force. I am repenting each of my moves which seemed to me the perfect moves of life.  Now I know nothing is calculated and schemed.  I know that from this place there is no return, things be gone, let by be gone. I know it will be futile if I say I miss you, I love you, I need you. I have no option than walk on my way- lonely and broken with this hope that next time if God permits I will not let you go. 

THE WRITING ART

 A chef can cook on your request,

A musician can play your request,

A sweet seller can serve the sweets on your request,

A singer can sing a song on your request,

A dancer can perform as per your request,

A Bar-man can make the drink on your request,

A joker can demonstrate on your request, 

A photographer can click on your request,

A touring guide can show the place of attraction on your request,

 A D.J./R.J. can play your request,

An instrumentalist can play as per your request,

A magician can show his art on your request,

An actor can act on your request,

A cable TV COMPANY can show program on your request .....

BUT a WRITER can not write as per your request,

he writes what his heart says

through his emotions...

Dear friends, 

Thank you to all for your precious company on this blog site as today we have completed our another yr. of union. The bond ship of one more year has brought us together for learning the good blessing lessons from each other. 

Some months back I was revising the teeth cleaning as my son Orian, due to his summer holidays and he remains in hurry to go for morning sports so he was just doing the formality of teeth cleaning for the sake of saying so.  While doing so I revised this chapter for me as well and it was an all new experience for me as well. That is why I believe that 'when we speak, we listen it too'. 

It is a good learning experience for me as well as whatever I have shared on this site, it is time for me to know that too. The love and light which all of you share with me has become the life long experience of learning for me. 

My friends you have explained me the answers of many questions.  I believe that this journey for finding self in us would be continued till we meet our own creator. Sometimes the path becomes the destiny and destination after reaching becomes the halting / resting point and another beginning / base camp for further journey.

 The light which I have seen helps me to see god in you and in me. The quest for knowing self is important and can not be ignored. I have learnt a lot from you and your presence in my life. 

This blogsite  and FB has become the places of meeting where we are meeting and knowing each other by sharing our emotions. Like attracts like and emotions are the reflection of what we feel inside. 

I am blessed to be in your company and by your precious friendship. May god it shall continue forever !!! AMEN.....

ARUN

I AM STILL ALIVE

The pain which I was carrying with me throughout the life has gone with word ‘death’. During my life I always took the risks and always came as a winner just because I have faith in me. I have paid a good price for whatever I achieve and I knew that there was no free lunch. I always asked for many small victories rather than one biggest conquest. These many small victories had led me to top most places in life. I put myself on stake and I came as clean but I did not put my love to stake because I knew that if love would lost there would not be any purpose of victory. I knew my priority and got through the acid test. I always knew that world’s best fruits go to a person who would keep the child inside him alive as only that would lead him to his best friend…GOD. I knew that process might led me to loneliness and isolation but I knew that it would be a temporary phase and that would be over at earliest and I would be laughing in the last that is why I never thought of quitting now when everyone is calling me dead, I will pronounce that I am still alive…

 

GOD'S TRUST & us

Life teaches us various lessons and to love and forgive is the major experiences of one’s life gifted to us from our creator. He loves if we take interest in learning this. He calls us ‘KARMYOGI’ if we succeeded in his acid test of life. He gives a special treatment to people who work and store this experience as ultimately we are traveling towards the merging with him. He checks that whether the learnt lesson are assets to us by examining us in difficult situations. 

The rewards to us are the best fruit for passing such tests. Sometimes the rewards are higher than expectation. Success is the way for showing his favor to us. Sometimes he blesses us with unique experience which becomes miracle for people. Such blessings are debt to society, sooner we understand, the better. Such powers are experiment for us as it may increase greed and lust. Self –control and satisfaction are way of thanking him and to keep check over the selfish motives. It is good to become angel but difficult to carry this. The devotees, the followers may convert us in what we were not. In that case the situation gets out of control and life becomes fragile for us. The material strength gains through this make us a weak scape goat in jungle tied with a branch of tree. So what we should do? Shall we refuse the god for not blessing us or we feel that the responsibility given by god to us is beyond control and may destroy us like ‘Bhasmasur’ I think we should not. “Bhasmasur” could not handle this power because he chose it for him. If god had chosen it for him then there was no difficulty. God has full trust in our ability and efficiency that is why he chooses us.  TRUST GOD is the key available to everyone. Accept the magical role assigned to us. Just remember that this role is to be played for our creator not for ourselves. That would be the nectar of  god’s blessing.

People say that daal ( Pulses & lentils) does not cook properly.. but I have seen cooked stones (in daal) .

(my) INSPIRING FORCES

The life is full of good expectations and great hope. Everything in this world explains a new meaning to us. There is a light everywhere and all are walking experiences of good learning. 

*When I see someone helps someone w/o any expectation,

*when a child walks while holding the hand of his father/mother, 

*when I see in metro/ bus/ train that someone vacates his seat for     someone who needs more than him,

*when someone before eating, gives his share to needy one, 

*when someone packs extra food for his friends, 

*when someone stops to give direction for destination to strangers, 

*when a poor displaced person returns your precious belonging, 

*when someone who can but does not steal your belongings, 

*when someone like Mahatma Gandhi fought for our existence, 

*when someone like Mother Teresa came to foreign land to help the poor, 

*when someone like Martin Luther came forward for unknown like us,

*when someone like Jesus sacrificed his life for his enemy' sake, 

*when someone like Mrs. Indira Gandhi gave his blood for his country, 

*when an unknown soldier/ cop patrols for our safety in dangerous alley of unseen threats,

*when my mother used to keep the best fruit for me 

They are few examples which are alive inside me, motivate and inspire me to believe in humanity, sacrifice and mankind. ...:)

POSITIVE THINKING

POSITIVE THINKING is generated through living a life as LIVE NORMAL- LIVE TODAY. Our soul transforms through POSITIVE THINKING. Every soul lives a different meaningful existence to meet his/her counter parts and to merge in super soul i.e. God. Whatever I have today is the best and I am going to see this beautiful world by the help of it. I love to live this moment fully and I don’t hold this celebration for any other day. I am living my life in present as I am not time traveller and I don’t wish to be. If I become than my life will never be same and full of more mistakes and less gratitude’s. The POSITIVE THINKING should be like a life of a child. He lives completely and happily. As we grow up we forget about enjoying the small things of life and make our search for better, best, excellent and outstanding. We can’t predict or forecast because life is not a planned affair.. it is not a drama set on your stage of life. POSITIVE THINKING is an act of natural emotions come spontaneously in mind. if god be given chance, he would love to live like us just because of uncertainty in various situations. Dreams are goal of our life. It is sign of awaken mind, love them , they are here to take us to another level of salvation. We should celebrate and enjoy this beautiful moment. POSITIVE THINKING is full of giving and lot of taking. Living life in simple form and in today makes us prefect for future journey. POSITIVE THINKING is a book and nothing extra-ordinary is required to be done to read this. whatever GOD has offered to us is related with us and I wish a normal life shall be full of adventures including of nightmares, it is worth, pay for it happily, and enjoy the nectar of life... That is the POSITIVE THINKING and its outcome. :)

FRIEND

FRIEND  is a live example of your reflection. A friend is a life experience of one’s life. He/ She is a mentor, a Guru, A follower, a support and best companion. He is the critic when you are alone. He knows your weaknesses and rectify them when you are with him but supports among other w/o questioning them. He is your biggest fan and follower but teaches you when you are in his company. He advises you w/o letting other know this. He is like a wall to cover your back. He not only covers you as well as stands for you when you are lonely and broken. He does not believe in taking your fruits rather sharing his fruits with you. Finding friend is never a difficult thing if one is true to his own feelings. One can make many friends if there is less contradiction in one’s personality. I feel that friends never hurt and if someone pretends to be in your friends’ list and hurts then he is not a friend. A person who respects the others is as good as a good friend. I have learnt a lot from my friends and some of best moments of my life are written by none other than my friends. I always feel that many of good things blessed by god through my friends. I would have missed those best fruits if not accompanied by my friends. Thank you friends for helping me to have them( blessings of god). Thank you GOD for their presence in my life.

BETRAYAL & TREASON

A relation is pure source of energy. It develops one ‘s emotional and spiritual strength. It is like sacred river of holy water, blesses the persons involved.  

Betrayal is a lesson of life learnt from the closer ones. As closer the person , so high the learning. One can feel the pain of this lesson throughout the life. One cannot ignore this as we do not live in Utopian society. Betrayal diminishes the charm of relationship. The degree of betrayal depends on the intensity of relation. It is breach of trust between the persons. It is obstacle in friendship and relationship. It is one of the dish of buffet choose by us . It helps in opening one’s mind. It awakes us. It is like an electricity current passes as shock treatment in smooth life. It gets support from other negative emotions of life. Once broken never be intact again. I have seen people walking through this door and the intensity of their emotions is such high that I can feel the dryness of their eyes after the flowing of their tears. Initial stage the learner remains in denial mode and slowly when he started understanding the experience then the feeling of Pain, repentance followed by anger and hate which is sometimes so high that one may start doing the same with self. Then the stage of revenge comes. One starts living in manipulation and conspiracy w/o realising that is affecting oneself rather than anyone else. I feel that involving in such activities it is better to start a fresh with or w/o the person involve. One can forgive or forget the existence of such person, is the solution to deal with this emotion. Only then, the learning through this emotion is possible otherwise it would snatch the purpose of life from us.

 

TREASON  is the wish of changing the system or particular person. It is a voice against the evils design created to run the system. It may be for better or worst depending upon the decision of people involved in doing so. Hearing the direct voices may reduce the chance of happening this and respite for them who are feeling betrayed or cheated. There are many examples of this when people have stood for this whether it was war between north and south. It involves good numbers of persons from both sides. It is like a dim flame which increases with the spreading of dissatisfaction. A person against whom the treason has occurred or going to occur can handle it w/o any harm if he / she will able to take right decisions on time. It is a continue process and day to day decision making is required. A good administrative team can work for restoring the trust of people. Critics may be given the right place and suitable need based, people oriented welfare decision can control and prevent this situation.
